Houston Texans place former LSU OL K.J. Malone on reserve/retired list
K.J. Malone, a former LSU offensive lineman, was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft.
However, it appears the former Tiger’s NFL career is over before it ever really got started.
According to the Texans, Malone — the son of NBA legend Karl Malone — has been placed on the reserve/retired list:

According to the Houston Chronicle, Malone decided to retire after only two days in the NFL.
While that is a surprising decision, Malone has expressed interest in a career in law enforcement in the past, so perhaps he decided to give that a go full-time.
Either way, he’s no longer with the Texans, so we’ll have to see what his next move is.
