Former LSU star Jarvis Landry is testing his pain threshold this season for the Cleveland Browns.

Landry revealed on Thursday that he suffered a broken rib since the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 11, and then went on and played against the Pittsburgh Steelers the following week.  Landry suffered the injury when he took a huge hit from linebacker Zaire Franklin during the opening series of the Browns’ 32-23 win over the Colts, the Akron Beacon Journal reported.

“That hit actually broke one of my ribs,” Landry said on Zoom. “So I’m still kind of dealing with and playing through that and just kind of out here in practice doing whatever I can and giving it my all on Sundays.”

Landry completed a 32-yard catch during the play and literally crawled to the sideline afterward. He finished the Colts game, then sat out two practices last week, returned Friday as a limited participant and played again Sunday in a 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He returned and made four catches for 88 yards against the Colts, and then extended his consecutive games played streak to 101 games, as the LSU product caught five passes for 40 yards last week.
