Opening up the offense in Baton Rouge obviously paid off in a massive way for LSU on the field and it continues to pay off for the Tigers on the recruiting trail as Ed Orgeron’s program landed a commitment from four-star Texas receiver JoJo Earle on Thursday.

Earle is the second receiver to commit to LSU’s 2021 recruiting class and the second four-star prospect at the position to commit to playing his college football in Baton Rouge.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Earle is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 13 overall receiver and a top 75 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Aledo, Texas native announced his commitment on the same day as LSU is expected to have several players selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

“Blessed to announce that I have committed to Louisiana State University!!!!! #GeauxTigers #BayouBu21ness”
