Kirk Herbstreit heaps praise on LSU after upset win at Florida
The LSU Tigers went into The Swamp on Saturday night and stunned No. 6 Florida in a foggy game, 37-34.
It was a shocking win for LSU, as the Tigers have been absolutely gutted this year by injuries, opt-outs and players who left after last season’s national championship to head to the NFL Draft.
After the win for LSU, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter to praise the Tigers — specifically the players who have stuck around to finish the season:
Congratulations to @LSUfootball on their best performance of the year. Losses mounting-Opt outs-Players threatening to leave-Playing talented @GatorsFB team on the road-People questioning where the program is- Team goes out UNITED & plays their tails off FOR EACH OTHER. AWESOME!

Saturday’s win is one that won’t soon be forgotten in the history of this intense SEC East-West rivalry.
LSU closes out the season against Ole Miss next weekend. Can the Tigers bring their record to an even 5-5?
