La’el Collins missed camp with the Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday due to personal reasons.

He has not practiced much this offseason. Collins recently signed a 3-year, $21 million contract with the Bengals after 7 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

Collins was cleared to practice by the Bengals on Aug. 10 with a back issue.

The former Jacobs Blocking Trophy recipient, the award for the SEC’s top offensive lineman, originally started in the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2015.

According to Pro Football Talk, head coach Zac Taylor was uncertain when Collins would be able to return. Hakeen Adeniji has been taking first team reps in Collins’ absence.
