LSU AD Joe Alleva releases statement about Will Wade's connection to federal case involving college basketball
This week, LSU coach Will Wade’s name was brought up in court in connection to a man being investigated by the FBI for providing illegal benefits to college basketball players.
Wade strongly denies ever having done business with Christian Dawkins, and on Wednesday night, LSU AD Joe Alleva issued a statement on the matter.
Alleva said the Tigers are always ready to help the NCAA, but he believes Wade is running a clean program:

This case is being tried in court this week, so we’ll likely know more in the coming days and weeks.
For now, though, LSU’s AD has Wade’s back, so we’ll monitor the situation moving forward.
