LSU basketball hosting son of former Tiger great for official visit
The LSU Tigers are undefeated in SEC play entering Saturday’s game and have a great chance of winning the SEC regular-season title for the second year in a row.
For Saturday’s home game against Ole Miss, the Tigers and coach Will Wade will have a visitor with a familiar last name.
Per Billy Embody of 247Sports, UCLA transfer Shareef O’Neal, son of LSU and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, will be on an official visit on Saturday:

O’Neal recently left the UCLA program to explore other options, and it seems he’ll consider following in his father’s footsteps at LSU.
O’Neal appeared in 13 games for the Bruins this season, averaging 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest. He stands 6-9 and weighs in at 215 pounds.
