There’s a strange situation brewing at LSU between head coach Ed Orgeron and first-year offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

It seems as if their relationship has been strained since a loss to Troy earlier this year, and rumors are swirling that the school will part ways with Canada after the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.

For now, though, senior QB Danny Etling says nothing has really changed in terms of game preparation. He told reporters on Friday that it has been business as usual so far this month:

Though it does seem as if Canada has been able to keep the rumors from affecting the LSU offense, the players have had to address it several times, so it is having some effect.

Will that show up in the score on Monday? That remains to be seen, but there are plenty of major question marks in Baton Rouge right now.
