There may be no hotter team on the recruiting trail than LSU. After landing three commitments over the weekend, the Tigers picked up their fourth pledge in as many days from defensive end Aaron Moffitt. Aaron is the son of strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt.

The younger Moffitt announced his commitment via Twitter:

247Sports rates the 6-foot-4, 255-pound Moffitt as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 41 defensive end recruit. Moffitt chose LSU over South Carolina, Cal, Duke, Purdue and Louisiana Tech among others.

Selected to the 5-A First Team All-State, All-Metro and All-District teams in 2015, Moffitt recorded 55 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 12 sacks as a junior and helped Baton Rogue’s Catholic High to its first ever state title.

The Tigers’ big week in recruiting started with the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Austin Deculus Friday, which was followed by commitments from the nation’s No. 1 JUCO receiver Stephen Guidry and fullback Tory Carter both on Saturday.

Judging by his highlight film, Moffitt is a nightmare coming off the edge at the high school level:
