The week started pretty poorly for Leonard Fournette as the former Jaguar running back was released by the team, went unclaimed on waivers and turned around and filed a grievance against his former NFL team.

Things have quickly turned around for the star running back, however, as Fournette has gone from the outhouse to the penthouse when it comes to NFL teams heading into the season as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quickly moved to sign him.

Instead of playing for a franchise that appears dead-set on trying to land a top draft pick, Fournette will now suit up for a team that’s all-in on winning a Super Bowl after the offseason acquisitions of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Tampa Bay potentially has a need at running back, too, as the team drafted Vanderbilt’s Ke’Shawn Vaughn and signed LeSean McCoy to compete with last season’s starter, Ronald Jones.

However the reps work out in Tampa, Fournette was eager to display just how happy he is to land with a solid franchise like the Bucks.
