After an ugly offensive showing in his team’s 16-14 loss to Wisconsin, LSU coach Les Miles on Tuesday suggested a few changes that might be brewing in Baton Rouge.

First off, Miles appears to be going back on his decision to have all of his assistant coaches on the sideline instead of in the press box. The coach enacted the change for the season opener after junior quarterback Brandon Harris and the offense exploded for 56 points against Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron down on the field.

Miles was also asked if he’d consider starting junior quarterback Danny Etling — a Purdue transfer — after Harris threw for 131 yards and two picks against Wisconsin, the latter of which ruined LSU’s chances of attempting a potential game-winning field goal.

It’s unclear what Miles will do about his quarterback quandary, but it’ll be interesting to see if any changes are made on offensive when the Tigers host Jacksonville State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
