Patrick Peterson brought the NFL’s Game of the Year (so far) to an end on Sunday afternoon. The former LSU standout picked off Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen to seal the win for the Minnesota Vikings.

After a wild finish in regulation, Minnesota took a 33-30 lead on the initial overtime possession. Buffalo was driving, looking to win the game with a touchdown or tie 33-33 with a field goal. Peterson, however, stepped in and ended the game by intercepting Allen’s pass to the end zone on 2nd-and-10 with just over a minute remaining in the OT period.

It was a big day for former Tigers in purple and gold. Minnesota was stopped on a 4th-and-goal quarterback sneak, turning the ball over on downs. Buffalo fumbled in the end zone and the Vikings recovered for a defensive touchdown, going up 30-27 with the extra point with 48 seconds on the clock. Allen and the Bills drove to get a game-tying field goal in the final seconds to force overtime.
