PHOTO: Meet LSU's new possible mascot, Harvey
LSU’s move-in day was on Wednesday, and the returning Tiger students got quite a surprise when the school’s potential new mascot made an appearance on campus.
Harvey, the tiger who could be in line to become Mike VII in near future, was introduced into the night house section of the tiger habitat.
As you can see below, he certainly looked intrigued by his new surroundings:

It’s important to note that Harvey, an 11-month-old male, will not be Mike VII until he is observed by LSU veterinarians for a week. If he gets past the observation period, he will be formally introduced as the school’s new mascot and released into the habitat’s yard.
At least for now, though, Harvey is on campus and will attempt to pass all his tests to set a good example for the LSU students this semester.
