Justin Fields, a 2018 5-star dual-threat quarterback and the No. 1 overall player in his class, has yet to announce where he’ll play next year after de-committing from Penn State earlier this offseason.

Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Florida State are widely considered the favorites to land the services of the Georgia native, but recently, LSU has jumped into the mix.

According to 247Sports, Fields will make his first trip to LSU on Saturday, when the Tigers are scheduled to host Chattanooga:

Fields hasn’t announced when he’ll make his final decision yet, but taking in a night game at Death Valley is sure to be a fun experience for him and his family.

Currently, 247Sports has the LSU 2018 recruiting class ranked fourth in the SEC and 13th nationally. Landing Fields would give the Tigers’ 2018 class a huge boost.
