When the Texas A&M Aggies were looking for a new head coach, they zeroed in on Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher and seemingly wouldn’t take no for an answer.

They eventually got their man, giving him a 10-year, $75-million contract, but now they need to fill out Fisher’s staff.

That should worry the LSU Tigers, as the Aggies are reportedly eyeing DC Dave Aranda to head to College Station. According to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger, the Tigers are doing everything they can to keep Aranda in Baton Rouge:

This is far from over, as the Aggies are nothing if not persistent, and they’ll keep pressing until they have a defensive coordinator.

While LSU may be about to part ways with OC Matt Canada, the Tigers aren’t as willing to let Aranda walk away after only two years with the program.
