Just before National Signing Day, LSU coach Ed Orgeron’s 2018 recruiting class took a hit on Tuesday night.

According to a report from the Shreveport Times, 3-star S ArDarius Washington has decided to back off his LSU pledge and is now expected to sign elsewhere.

The report says Washington will now sign with TCU, and will do so on Wednesday afternoon at his high school:

The senior is expected to sign with coach Gary Patterson’s club in a 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the school, according to Evangel athletic officials, along with two other Eagles.

According to the 247Sports composite, Washington is the No. 46 safety in the class of 2018 and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Tigers have plenty of targets remaining heading into Wednesday, but the loss of Washington will certainly hurt Coach O’s class.
