Although LSU managed to play only one half of its spring scrimmage on Saturday, the Tigers made quite an impression on an important visitor.

Thaddeus Moss, a freshman tight end who is transferring from North Carolina State, took an official visit to LSU over the weekend and it ended with some great news for the Tigers.

The son of former NFL legend Randy Moss announced his intentions to transfer from North Carolina State earlier this month after catching six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown for the Wolfpack in 2016.

Moss was a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, and the 6-foot-3, 240-pound tight end was rated the No. 18 player at his position by the 247Sports Composite.
