Brandon Harris is officially a graduate of LSU, and he’ll play his final season at North Carolina as a graduate transfer.

But Harris took the time Monday to pen his final goodbye to LSU via his Facebook page.

“Man, I am now officially a candidate for the upcoming graduation ceremony at Louisiana State University, and I must say that achieving this milestone in my life is one of the greatest feelings,” Harris wrote. “Growing up college graduation seems like an achievement that is so far off, but today it became a true reality. The vast majority of you understand the hard work and dedication it takes to graduate, especially when you get the opportunity to do so in three years, all while being a student athlete. Although I will not get the opportunity to come back and walk due to other obligations, I wanted to extend my overwhelming gratitude to all who deserves such thanks. To simply say I am thankful for all the people and places who played a role in this achievement is an understatement. Thank you God, for continuing to allow me to put you first. I am also truly grateful to the academic staff of LSU and all of the people who have given me the opportunity to achieve such a milestone as this. Every professor and every mentor whom I’ve had the opportunity to learn from has helped make this possible and I am forever indebted.”

The Bossier City, La. product was the No. 3 dual-threat QB in the class of 2014. He played in 22 games during his Tigers career, with 12 of those games coming in the 2015 season. He appeared in only two games in the 2016 season, and he was benched in favor of Danny Etling.

For his career, Harris finished 187-of-347 passing for 2,756 yards, 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
