When Leonard Fournette set foot on LSU’s campus for the first time as a Tiger, many fans felt as though they had won the lottery. They may have won it twice.

While Fournette spent time struggling with injuries last season, Derrius Guice established himself as arguably the best running back in the entire conference. The sophomore led the SEC with 1,387 yards and averaged an insane 7.58 yards per carry. Few people would have ever expected LSU’s running game to possibly be in a better situation once Fournette left, but Guice is more than capable of replacing him.

As if his numbers didn’t do enough to drive home the point that Guice is special, a video was posted on Twitter Friday afternoon that showed the rising junior squatting 650 pounds.

There are so many things in that video to illustrate just how impressive a feat Guice accomplished. For starters, it took FIVE people to spot that weight. Even the bar looked ready to give up.

If The Avengers ever decide to add another superhero to their roster, they need to take a trip down to Baton Rouge.
