WATCH: Leonard Fournette explains why he still wears his LSU pads
During Jacksonville’s 45-42 AFC divisional win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, RB Leonard Fournette was seen wearing what looked to be LSU pads under his Jaguars’ uniform.
The former Tigers back has had a wild rookie season in Jacksonville, doing his part in helping the team get to the playoffs and keep winning. Fournette rushed for 109 yards and three TDs during Sunday’s win over the Steelers.
The purple and gold colors were seen multiple times on Fournette, but it’s likely not the first time he’s worn them this season. LSU’s equipment staff sent Fournette his old pads before the season started.
