LSU is 8-0 and has an off week next weekend. That’s good, because the Tigers need to rest up and get ready for a Nov. 9 showdown against Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

After Saturday’s 23-20 win over Auburn, LSU QB Joe Burrow was asked about facing the Crimson Tide again.

As you can see below, he said he’s focused on the win against Auburn at the moment, but he did say he thinks the 2019 Tigers are better than the 2018 version (via AL.com):

“I’ll have to get into the film room and see. I’m focused on celebrating this win right now. This is a top-10 win against a really good football team, so we are going to celebrate this one for a while. I think we are a much better team than last year. I think we’re a lot more explosive and the defense is really starting to click on all cylinders. I’m excited to get back to work this week and fine-tune some things that we have not been very good at.”

Last year, the Tigers lost 29-0 against Alabama in Baton Rouge. Burrow and his teammates want to change that narrative this time around.
