You don’t see transfers take shots at their former head coach in their transfer announcements very often.

Mississippi State RB Dillon Johnson ruffled some feathers Wednesday afternoon in his transfer announcement, which he posted to Twitter. In the announcement, Johnson wrote “With that being said, since I’m not very tough and (head coach Mike) Leach is glad I’m leaving, I will be entering my name into the transfer portal.”

See for yourself below.

Johnson isn’t the average portal entry you’ve seen across the past few days. He’s been a strong contributor for Mississippi State the past 3 years, totaling 1,198 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns across his tenure in Starkville.

He’s been a strong receiving threat, too. Johnson has totaled 149 receptions for 864 yards and 1 touchdown in the Bulldogs’ offense.
