The Missouri Tigers nearly blew a huge lead at home against Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon, allowing the Bulldogs to force overtime with a 12-0 run late in the second half.

However, in overtime, the Tigers held on for a big 89-85 victory, but the win didn’t come without some controversy.

After the Tigers had taken a lead, Mississippi State guard Lamar Peters was whistled for an offensive foul for this push-off that Mizzou’s Jordan Geist sold to the officials really well, as you can see in the video below, shared by @TBradenBishop on Twitter:

Shortly after the game, Peters took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the call, saying the Bulldogs got robbed:

Of course, Mizzou fans would counter with some questionable calls that were made in regulation, but Peters certainly has a point about this particular play.

With the win, the Tigers strengthened their NCAA Tournament resume, while the Bulldogs continue to live life on the edge of the bubble.
