The Mississippi State Bulldogs made an addition to their 2018 recruiting class on Saturday night when TE Brad Cumbest of Kiln, Mississippi, decided to commit to the school.

According to The Clarion-Ledger, the 6-5, 225-pound tight end has been a fan of the Bulldogs and their coaching staff for a while:

“I grew up a State fan,” Cumbest said, “and I love (tight ends) coach (D.J.) Looney and coach (Dan) Mullen.”

Cumbest is unranked by 247Sports, but will likely receive a ranking by the end of his senior season. He caught 30 passes for 575 yards and six touchdowns as a junior in 2016.

Mississippi State now has 10 commits in its 2018 recruiting class, including 4-star dual-threat QB Jalen Mayden.
