A week after Aaron Brule entered the transfer portal at Mississippi State, the linebacker has decided on his next program. He’ll play next season at Michigan State.

Brule in his career at Mississippi State made 142 tackles, 18 tackles-for-losses and 8 sacks. He’s a redshirt junior. Brule was a key player for the Bulldogs, and it was evident before the season as he represented MSU at SEC Media Days in July.

The New Orleans native was ranked as the country’s No. 32 safety in the class of 2018 when he committed to the Bulldogs, but he made the switch to linebacker upon his arrival. He recorded 16 tackles for a loss — including 7 sacks —in 2020 and 2021. Brule was also the team’s 2nd-leading tackler in 2020 with 74 stops.

He had 53 tackles in 2021, with 3 sacks and 8 tackles for a loss.
