Baldwin Park, California DE Nick Dimitris has collected 16 scholarship offers and recently trimmed his list to five schools. Mississippi State is the only SEC program still in the mix for the Sierra Vista standout, according to a recent graphic posted on Dimitris’ Twitter account.

Dimitris is listed at 6-4, 235 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 38 weak-side defensive end, No. 54 California product and No. 589 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. He also received scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee.

247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins recently evaluated Dimitris, predicting he’ll be a Power 5 starter:

An intriguing prospect who just started playing football his junior year. Has a nice combination of size and athleticism and just needs more game experience and reps to maximize his potential. Physically he’s what you’re looking for in a next level rush end with a strong frame and room to add good weight. Plays with a good motor and compete level. Natural athlete who can get off the ball and has the ability to run down plays from behind. Still very raw but has the upside to be a starter at the high Power 5 level.
