Last Saturday, Mississippi State had one of the most impressive wins of the week. In the Bulldogs’ season opener, they traveled to LSU and pulled off an upset 44-34 win over the defending national champions.

It was quite the way to begin the Mike Leach era at Mississippi State. Now, the Bulldogs return home looking to open the year 2-0.

Mississippi State, now ranked No. 16 in the AP Top 25 poll, will host Arkansas in its home opener at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday. It should be an opportunity for the Bulldogs’ offense to put up more big numbers after they had 632 total yards of offense at LSU — and quarterback K.J. Costello had 623 of those yards through the air.

Mississippi State will be looking to continue its recent success against Arkansas. Although the Razorbacks lead the all-time series 16-13-1, the Bulldogs have won the matchup each of the past three years and seven of the past eight.

On Friday, Mississippi State revealed its uniform combination for the matchup, as it will be wearing its traditional maroon jerseys for the home opener:
