Dak Prescott had an incredible rookie season, throwing for 3,667 yards and 23 touchdowns with an overall passer rating of 104.9, third best in the NFL behind only Super Bowl quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Tom Brady.

What’s truly impressive about Prescott’s passer rating is how well he performed in hostile environments. For the year, Prescott posted a passer rating of 103.4 on the road. With Prescott’s career being only one season so far, he has the best career road passer rating of any active quarterback, even better than Ryan and Brady.

Bleacher Report’s Marcus Mosher compiled the career home and road ratings of active quarterbacks to show the difference in performance.

Prescott obviously has one of the smaller sample sizes, but it does show how rare a 100-plus rating is in a hostile environment truly is. No other active quarterback, even the rookies, has a career road rating of above 100. The next closest to achieving triple digits that is Aaron Rodgers at 99.2.
