If there’s one phrase that describes the 2019 college football season so far, it’s “NCAA transfer portal.”

Many players around the country have entered the portal this offseason, allowing other teams to get in contact with them about potentially transferring to their school.

On Tuesday, Mississippi State TE Christian Roberson reportedly became the latest player to enter the portal, per reports from Mississippi State beat writers:

Roberson was a 3-star tight end in the class of 2016. He redshirted in 2016 and didn’t appear in any games in 2017 or 2018.

Where the redshirt sophomore ends up remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Starkville is over.
