The 2019 recruiting class will be an important one for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, as it’ll be coach Joe Moorhead’s first full class.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs managed to land a commitment from a talented in-state defensive end — 3-star Hattiesburg native Jack Harris.

As you can see below, Harris announced on Twitter that he planned to stay home and play for the Bulldogs in 2019 and beyond:

According to the 247Sports composite, Harris is the No. 48 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.

The Bulldogs now have 10 players in their 2019 class, which ranks No. 7 in the SEC and No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports.
