The Tigers managed to unveil several different unique uniform combinations and helmet options last fall during another championship season for Gary Pinkel and his staff.

Arguably the sexiest addition was the debut of a black helmet defined by a chrome facemask and chrome secondary logo worn during a blowout win in Gainesville.

The Tigers let fans vote on their apparel preference earlier in the season against South Carolina, a white on black road set featuring Mizzou’s alternate helmet without a chrome facemask.

Last season against Indiana, the Tigers unveiled Nike’s latest alternate, a grey and black set with tiger-striped gold numerals and accents. The same combination was worn against Vanderbilt as well.

Later, Mizzou donned an all-black alternate with a matte helmet and glossy secondary logo during a win over Arkansas the helped the Tigers clinch a second consecutive berth in the SEC Championship Game.

Mizzou hasn’t yet revealed Nike’s treatment for the 2015 season, but if the last several years are any indication, Pinkel’s open to letting the swoosh experiment as long as the Tigers’ on-field look includes black, gold and oftentimes a hint of silver.
