That’s because Missouri defensive back DeMarkus Acy was flagged for defensive pass interference in the end zone on the final play of regulation, which gave the Wildcats an untimed down. Kentucky spoiled the Tigers’ potential upset by turning that gift into the game-winning touchdown to escape with a 15-14 win.
