Missouri’s offense has looked out of sorts since star WR Emanuel Hall went down with a groin injury.

Earlier this week, coach Barry Odom said Hall would miss this weekend’s homecoming game against Memphis as he continues to work his way back from the nagging ailment.

However, on Tuesday, one reporter noted that Hall has only played in four games this year. Due to the NCAA’s new redshirt rules that allow players to appear in four games and maintain their redshirt, Odom was asked if that was an option for Hall this year. Odom, though, said Hall is eager to return to the field (via Rivals.com):

“He said, ‘Coach, I’m so ready to get back and help this team,’” Odom said. “So I think that would probably be the way that we’ll end up going, and he, health-wise, is in a lot better spot right now than he was last Tuesday.”

With Hall limited against Georgia and out against South Carolina and Alabama, Mizzou QB Drew Lock has only thrown one touchdown pass.

Getting Hall back will be crucial for the team’s 2018 hopes as they resume SEC play in two weeks.
