Missouri won its fifth straight game with a 45-17 win at Vanderbilt as the Tigers became bowl eligible following a 1-5 start.

Drew Lock was 10-for-25 passing for 235 yards and three touchdowns in a game played in the middle of a heavy rainstorm.

After the game, coach Barry Odom spoke to the SEC Network:

  • “We’ve got a group of guys that really care about each other, they’ve got a lot of resolve. By the way they’ve held together throughout this season. I’m ready to get in the locker room, get around them.”
  • “We need to put this one to rest and get to the next one because it’s a short week and Arkansas’ already got a couple hours on us.”
  • “Really proud of them, they’ve done an excellent job. We’ll see how good we can be going into next week.”
  • “I’m excited for our seniors to have the opportunity to go and play in postseason, and I’m really excited for our underclassmen to get 10 to 15 additional practices in on what we need on the foundation for our program moving forward.”
  • “I’m excited just by the way we played good team football. It wasn’t perfect by any stretch on either side, but we found enough guys to step up and make plays and I’m happy for them.”
