Former Mizzou DE/OLB Charles Harris donned the No. 91 jersey during his time in Columbia, but he’ll be wearing a new number for the Miami Dolphins this fall.

The first-round pick (No. 22 overall) said during his introductory press conference that he will sport jersey No. 90 this year, as a different Miami star is already wearing No. 91 (via the Palm Beach Post):

“I got number 90,” Harris said. “I haven’t worn that. Mr. (Cameron) Wake got 91, so I’m going to take one step down, but I guess it’s only right. I’m the little brother. Number 90. Number 91.”

Harris can learn a lot from Wake, who recorded 11.5 sacks last season and a career-high 15 sacks in 2012.

Along with DT Ndamukong Suh, the Dolphins have all the makings of one of the NFL’s best pass-rushing units if Harris can step in and contribute right away.
