The Missouri Tigers are 10-6, but could be doing even better if they had star big man Jontay Porter, who was the best player on last year’s squad.

However, after tearing his ACL before the season even started, Porter has missed every game so far for the Tigers.

On Tuesday, coach Cuonzo Martin spoke about Porter’s rehab. While it sounds like things are going well, Martin said he doesn’t expect Porter to return this season:

That’s not exactly a surprise, as Porter tore his ACL in October. These rehabs often take several months, sometimes even a year.

The big question is whether Porter will return to Mizzou for his junior year or enter the 2019 NBA Draft. Porter was a potential first-round pick last year, and could still be a lottery pick this year, so he has an interesting decision to make.
