Demariyon Houston, a junior college wide receiver out of Hutchinson Community College, has committed to play in the SEC.

Houston, who is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Millwood) announced on social media that he would play at Missouri.

Houston originally committed to Texas before he signed with Nebraska as part of the 2019 signing class. During his time in Lincoln, Houston did not appear in a game for the Cornhuskers during his 2 seasons before entering the transfer portal in May of 2021, Power Mizzou reported.

As a senior in high school, Houston caught 35 passes for 772 yards and 11 touchdowns and was a first-team, All-Oklahoma choice by USA Today.

Last season at Huchinson C.C., the 6-foot, 180-pound prospect caught 19 passes for 280 yards in 11 games played. He averaged 25.5 yards per catch and made 3 touchdowns.

Houston becomes the third commitment for Missouri in the 2023 class, after in-state pledges Jahkai Lang and Brett Norfleet. Houston is expected to be a December graduate and will be on campus for spring football.
