Drew Lock claps back at Cece Jefferson: We gave him another quiet stadium
During this year’s SEC Media Days, Florida defensive lineman Cece Jefferson said he doesn’t enjoy playing at Missouri because it’s “quiet” and “boring.”
Tigers quarterback Drew Lock never forgot that comment — and he made sure Jefferson doesn’t, either.
While speaking with reporters Tuesday, Lock fired back at Jefferson for the months-old slight after Missouri’s 38-17 win against the Gators last Saturday in Gainesville. You can watch Lock’s response below in a video tweeted by Andrew Kauffman.
#Mizzou quarterback Drew Lock made a quick jab at Florida DE CeCe Jefferson calling him "the other guy that doesn't like quiet stadiums." Lock went on to say, "I guess we gave them another one of those."

The Tigers totaled 471 yards against Florida in The Swamp to pick up their first SEC win of the year and stun the No. 11 Gators. Lock completed 75 percent of his passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns, but he’s still shredding Florida defenders well after the final whistle was blown.
For context, you can check out the below tweet from Bennett Durando for Jefferson’s original comments at SEC Media Days.
I asked Florida defensive lineman Cece Jefferson what he remembered about #Mizzou last year that made them so tough to defend (Missouri won 45-16).
Bashing their fans wasn’t quite the kind of answer I was expecting, but wow. pic.twitter.com/mRJviphkOk
