Kobe Brown, who is a projected second-round pick, will keep his name in the NBA Draft, Matt Norlander reported.

The 6-foot-8 senior averaged 15.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He shot 45.5% from 3 and was one of the best players in the SEC last season. Brown started all 34 games last season and his production from 3-point range was by far a career best. Brown only made 20.6% of his 3-point attempts his junior season.

About a month ago, Brown announced that he would test the waters, but evidently has heard enough positive feedback to signal that his Mizzou days are over. He was invited to and participated in the NBA combine in Chicago.

The Huntsville, Alabama native made steady development throughout his career as Brown spent 4 seasons with Missouri and was one of just 3 players to remain with the Tigers through the transition from former head coach Cuonzo Martin to Dennis Gates. He had his best season yet in 2022-23.
