Missouri has been on a roll recently in recruiting, landing a handful of commits or transfers over the last week, and the good news continues for Eli Drinkwitz’s program heading into the weekend as the Tigers have just landed another pledge.

The latest commitment to the Mizzou football program comes from Alabama native Kris Abrams-Draine, who announced his decision on Friday.

The Spanish Fort native recently decommitted from Ole Miss following the coaching change at Oxford and was previously committed to LSU following his junior season for Spanish Fort High School. Other programs involved in his college recruitment include Alabama, Tennessee, Nebraska and West Virginia.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Abrams-Draine is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 20 overall prospect from the state of Alabama in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following this news, Mizzou has 16 total players either committed or signed to play football in Columbia in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Counting transfers, Abrams-Draine is the fifth receiver to join the Mizzou program this offseason as fellow high school prospects Javian Hester, Jay Maclin and Chance Luper and Damon Hazelton of Virginia Tech, have all committed to play for Coach Drinkwitz.
