Missouri has a stiff challenge against No. 1 Georgia on Saturday at Faurot Field, but it will at least have Luther Burden in the fold.

As ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported during College GameDay on Saturday, Burden was ruled “questionable” for the game thanks to an ankle injury. That said, it sounds as if the true freshman wide receiver will give it a go.

“I’m told he’s going to play today. He’s going to be 80 percent,” Thamel said. “They may not be able to use him in all the ways they have.”

Off the field, Burden raised eyebrows on Monday when he removed any mention of Mizzou from his Instagram account while posting the message “Patiently waiting…”, leading some to think that he would enter the transfer portal after not receiving a touch in the team’s overtime win over Auburn. He later clarified his remarks with a Twitter post stating that he was “always a Tiger”.

“The sources I talked to in Columbia this week say he’s locked in and ready to go for the rest of this season,” Thamel said
