Missouri appears to have found its quarterback prospect for the 2017 recruiting cycle as dual-threat signal-caller Reyondous Estes committed to Tigers Wednesday.

The 5-foot-11, 164-pound Estes is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 24 dual-threat quarterback in the nation and the No. 26 prospect from Illinois, according to 247Sports. Credit the Tigers for offering the East Saint Louis, Ill., native early, as the Tigers and Western Michigan are his only FBS offers at this time. Estes was at one time a Western Michigan commit.

“He’s a perfect fit for that system, for that spread offense those guys run,” East St. Louis Coach Darren Sunkett told Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports. “He’s a very athletic quarterback that can make any throw on the field.”
