Four-star ILB Chad Bailey is taking his talents from Missouri City to Mizzou.

The Tigers picked up their second commitment of the day when the Texas linebacker announced his decision via Twitter. It’s been a big recruiting weekend for Barry Odom and his staff, as MU landed two prospects on Friday as well.

Bailey’s decision may have been made easier by Hugh Freeze’s recent resignation. Last month, Bailey revealed a top five which included Missouri along with Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Indiana and Colorado. Prior to today’s commitment, four recruiting experts had made Crystal Ball predictions on 247Sports, with three picking Ole Miss.

Bailey is the highest rated commit in Missouri’s 2018 class as the lone four-star pledge on the 247Sports Composite, which ranks Bailey as 2018’s No. 16 inside linebacker and No. 42 Texas recruit. His highlights can be viewed below:
