The Missouri Tigers are active on the recruiting trail, earning commitments from a pair of three-star prospects the weekend before National Signing Day.

First, the Tigers added defensive end Nate Howard, who flipped his commitment from Wisconsin to Mizzou late Friday night.

Then Missouri hauled in tight end Josh Moore on Saturday afternoon after Moore flipped his commitment from Kansas to Mizzou in the final week of his recruitment. He had also been committed to Ohio State before flipping that commitment to Kansas.

Moore’s commitment was first hinted at by Missouri Director of Football Recruiting Nick Otterbacher on Twitter, although he never specified Moore by name.

Missouri beat reporter Pete Scantlebury eventually confirmed it was indeed Moore to whom Otterbacher was referring.

(For those not in the know, “CoMo” is shorthand for Columbia, Mo., the location of Mizzou’s campus.)

Moore will be in Columbia all weekend on his official campus visit. He may be the 23rd player added to Missouri’s 2015 recruiting class, but he’s the only tight end in the bunch. He also played defensive end in high school.
