Few things are more automatic than fans venting about at perceived bad call.

Boy, did officials give Missouri fans a couple of early reasons to head to Twitter on Saturday.

Officials called a pair of pass interference penalties on the Tigers that led to 10 West Virginia first-half points.

The first penalty was on a third down deep pass that sailed out of the end zone, uncatchable. Given new life, West Virginia scored on a 23-yard run the next play for a 10-0 lead.

The second penalty, also into double coverage, also looked uncatchable. It led to a field goal and a 13-0 West Virginia lead.

Of course, West Virginia fans didn’t exactly see it the same way.
