After firing defensive line coach Jackie Shipp before the season finale against Arkansas last month, the Missouri Tigers have been looking for someone to take his spot.

First-year coach Barry Odom seems to have found his man in former Texas defensive line coach Brick Haley:

Haley has served as the Longhorns’ defensive line coach since 2015, but was likely to be a casualty as new head coach Tom Herman brings in his own staff.

Haley is no stranger to the SEC, having served as Mississippi State’s defensive line coach 2004 to 2006. He held the same position at LSU from 2009 to 2014.

The new Tiger coach will have his work cut out for him, as star DE Charles Harris recently declared for the 2017 NFL Draft.
