The Missouri Tigers have gotten off to a slow start on the recruiting trails for the 2019 class, but on Saturday, they picked up a big commitment.

Just hours before the Tigers take on Purdue on the road, coach Barry Odom’s staff landed a commitment from a 3-star wide receiver out of St. Louis.

As you can see below, CJ Boone announced on his Instagram that he’d be heading to Columbia next fall:

According to the 247Sports composite, Boone is the No. 74 receiver in the class of 2019 and the No. 13 overall recruit from the state of Missouri.

The Tigers now have 12 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 14 in the SEC and No. 52 in the nation, per 247Sports.
