The Missouri Tigers will have one more year of Drew Lock in 2018, as the star quarterback recently announced he would return for his senior year.

However, the future of the Tigers’ quarterback position beyond 2018 was a little bit murkier.

On Monday, though, the Tigers landed a commitment from former LSU QB Lindsey Scott Jr., the No. 1 JUCO pro-style quarterback in the country. Scott announced his decision on Twitter:

According to the 247Sports composite, Scott is the No. 1 JUCO pro-style quarterback and the No. 12 overall JUCO prospect from the state of Louisiana.

Scott redshirted at LSU in 2016 and spent the 2017 season at East Mississippi Community College, so he’ll have three years of eligibility and will be able to play right away.

While he likely won’t supplant Lock next season, he could be the answer for the Tigers at quarterback in 2019 and 2020.
