Javian “JJ” Hester was the top-rated recruit in Mizzou’s 2020 recruiting class, coming to Columbia out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This past season, he broke into the lineup at times, but never rose to the ranks of starter. Now, ahead of the 2022 season, it seems he’s looking for a place where he can get some more playing time.

As you can see below, Hester took to Twitter on Wednesday night to reveal he was entering his name in the NCAA transfer portal:

In 2021, Hester recorded 12 catches for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns. Those 225 yards were good for fifth-most on the team.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in CoMo is coming to an end.
