Mizzou punter Corey Fatony only SEC punter named to Ray Guy preseason watch list
The SEC has had some great punters over the years, including guys like JK Scott at Alabama and Johnny Townsend at Florida last year.
Among those great punters is Mizzou’s Corey Fatony, and on Wednesday morning, Fatony was honored by the Ray Guy Award.
As you can see below, the Ray Guy Award named 27 punters to the 2018 preseason watch list, and Fatony was the SEC’s only representative:

Fatony hopes to continue his trend of decreasing the total number of his punts while simultaneously increasing his yards-per-punt average.
If he does that, he may just end up winning the award when all is said and done. And if he does, maybe he’ll break out his golf celebration once again:
